Roger Larson

Roger founded Larson Family Insurance as a one-man shop in 2010.  At that time, the business consisted of his laptop computer and an empty file drawer in a small office. Roger was motivated by his long-term vision, goals, and his burning desire to achieve them. The agency has now evolved to a team of 18 expert insurance advisors all working together for one common goal.
Roger qualified for TWFG’s million-dollar club in 2013, West Coast Broker/Agent of the year in 2014 and is now an ongoing member of the elite President’s Club agency, as they continue to grow at an amazing pace year after year. His story is another shining example of the great American dream in motion; where you can achieve whatever you desire with a vision, hard work, dedication, and a passion for what you do.
Roger and his two sisters were born and raised in the East San Francisco Bay Area. Roger and his family all remain very close. He played many sports growing up, but his greatest successes came on the basketball court and on the water as a top 10 finisher at the US Waterski National Championships. Roger attended UC Santa Barbara where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Roger first got into the insurance business in 2008 when he entered the 20+ year family business working in his father’s long-time established Farmers Insurance agency. After one-year Roger could see that being a captive agent was not for him. He did not like the fact that he was only able to offer client’s one product with one company as this was not always in the client’s best interest. As a captive agent his hands were often tied and so he decided to walk away from the established family business to move to the independent agency/broker side of insurance; this way Roger could represent his client and not any one insurance company. This is what Roger calls “the future model of the insurance world.”

Roger got married to the love of his life in 2014. The two of them and their dog, Simba, enjoy being very active, traveling, and following the local sports teams. Roger and his wife have since added two little boys to their growing family, Gino Anthony Larson and Dominic Domingo Larson.

Two traits that best describe Roger in his business practice are being analytical (the detail-oriented engineering side) and competitive (the driven/passionate sports side).

Roger and the team are proud to say the agency remains 100% referral based, as they do zero direct marketing. They feel this is the biggest indicator that people enjoy working with them and are very happy with the level of service they provide, as a referral is the greatest form of a compliment.

Roger and the team thank you for your continued support and stand by their mission to continue to offer their clients the best products and pricing available while delivering the highest level of customer service.
